Project Description
The project involved detailed audit and analysis, estimation, coordination, design,
and construction management for a lighting upgrade project at the Medical Science Research Buildings at the University of Michigan. Existing 100-watt mercury vapor light fixtures were replaced with recessed compact fluorescent 32-watt downlights. This project improved illumination levels and overall quality of light while greatly reducing energy consumption, resulting in annual energy cost savings of $45,700.
