The field of engineering requires a dedicated individual
with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals and applications
behind a variety of systems and equipment. The process of becoming a professional
engineer (P.E.) is the first step in professional growth toward this goal.
In a time when both public and private sector jobs are becoming
increasingly biased toward professionals, the consulting industry demands
attaining licensed status to promote not only advancement, but also survival.
A Professional Engineer must seal drawings submitted to public and private
clients and follow the state guidelines that govern the structure of consulting
engineering companies nationwide.
However, attaining the status of P.E. signifies more than just a basic competence. It demonstrates the aptitude to develop new skills in an ever-changing technological world, and most employers agree that licensed engineers possess enhanced leadership and managerial qualities. Most importantly, licensure enables engineers to protect public interest by monitoring the vast health and safety matters within the industry.
Today, all of the principals of Process Results are licensed P.E.'s and encourage the same path for our engineering staff. By doing this, each employee will become a valuable asset to our customers, the engineering community and the public at large.
