Project Description
The explosive processing project involved the design
and selection of equipment for processing retired military munitions and recovering
the components. Design contraints included the placement of the process inside
an existing structure and strict safety requirements due to the nature of
the components. ISA's S88 Batch Standards were used during the design of the
control system and for all process documentation. When built, the facility
will be fully automated and will operate without direct operator intervention.
