Every day more money is printed for Monopoly than for the Treasury

Joke of the Day

Q: What did one strawberry to another strawberry?

A: If you weren't so fresh, we wouldn't be in this jam!

Message from the President

As president of Process Results, Inc., I would like to welcome you to the first edition of “The PRI Vision” newsletter. Like many companies, we struggle with finding the time to stay in contact with all of our valued clients, business partners, vendors and friends of the firm who have made us successful over the past fourteen years. What a ride it has been from opening the doors in 1991 to the present day. I can’t say the road has always been smooth or the direction has been clear, but the journey has been incredible.

The intent of this newsletter is to be a quick read with a mix of short articles, information and the lighter side. Through the information presented, we hope to let you know more about Process Results, Inc., services, staff and the families that support our efforts to serve you.

Many of you know PRI by the services we provide for your specific facilities, but may not know the range of expertise and services we have to offer. Since our start, our services have continued to change to meet the changing and demanding needs of our clients. We have separated ourselves from our competition by continuing to take on the most challenging and complicated projects working with a team approach.

Southeast Michigan Sustainable Business Forum

PRI is one of 12 founding members of the Southeast Michigan Sustainable Business Forum (SMSBF). SMSBF is a resource for the development and implementation of sustainable business practices. To support businesses in Southeast Michigan, 12 companies started a force to promote the Triple Bottom Line principles—economic prosperity, environmental quality, and social equity—in practices through awareness of global trends, identification of best environmental practices, education and mentoring. Other founding members include General Motors, Ford, Masco, Visteon, DTE Energy and Comerica. Go to www.smsbf.org to learn more.

Energy Conservation Projects

Working with the client to best suit their environment, PRI provides a wide range of energy conservation services—including initial investigation and analysis through detailed design, construction management and commissioning on energy conservation measures. PRI is an Energy Star Partner and has been working with the University of Michigan for the past seven years completing a comprehensive energy conservation plan. The work has included over 12 million square feet of buildings on campus in addition to Housing, Athletics and the Hospitals. The University of Michigan has estimated the savings to be $6.5 million per year.

What's New at PRI

The PRI corporate headquarters is experiencing a few changes.

Construction is underway for a building uplift— a new entrance ramp, roof, and landscaping for the final touches. New Office—PRI has a new office in Rochester, MI. This will help us better serve our clients in NE Michigan.

New Projects—PRI has been awarded new jobs in the pharmaceutical, chemical and process industries.

Resource Center

Forensic Services—Since 1998, Process results has been an active member of the Investigative Engineers Association (IENG- A), a national organization that provide forensic engineering all over the world. The organization allows PRI to utilize the expertise to support the insurance and legal community. The experience and expertise of the organization is extensive; members have completed high profile cases like the Princess Diana accident, the Oklahoma bombing and others. If you would like more information, please go to our website or email us at forensic@processresults.com.

>Did you Know?

The company initially started as R.A. McEnhill & Associates, Inc. in 1991. The name was changed in 1997 to Process Results, Inc. The name was selected to represent our commitment to the engineering “process” and “results” for our clients. The tag line, “The Art of Engineering” was later added to reflect our belief that engineering excellence is created through the artful integration of vision, imagination, technical expertise and communications.

Energy Renewal—PRI has been working with several different companies to promote and develop technology to convert municipal solid waste and other high carbon waste streams to mixed alcohol (similar to ethanol) with minimal to no air or waste discharge. To efficiently process material, we need approximately 1 part carbon and 1.5 parts water.

Safety Tip

It is that time of year again when families are out barbequing, and wanted to pass along some safety measures:

1) Don’t store the spare propane tank to a grill on the grill frame while in operation.

2) Keep grill away from building walls.

3) Never leave a grill unattended for extended periods of time.
