FAQs

How did Process Results, Incorporated (PRI) conceive its name?
We worked with a group based in California who provided several ideas for names, logos and company colors. We requested options that provided an independent identity, an idea of services, and was concise. Process Results, Inc. was selected because it met our criteria and also had several meanings that we felt were significant. They include the following:

Does Process Results, Inc. primarily work in the process industry?
No, we have a well balanced and experienced staff that allows us to efficiently complete projects from basic commercial projects to complex chemical plants. Process work provides approximately 50% of our annual revenue. The remainder of our trade is architectural, commercial, industrial, energy conservation and specialty projects.

What makes Process Results' capabilities different from other engineering consultants?
Along with the staff to complete conventional design services, PRI has the extensive experience and capability necessary to carry out complicated and technically demanding projects involving chemicals, viscous liquids, solids, flammables, explosives, corrosives, fail-safe operation, automation, control systems and programming.

How can I purchase engineering services?
Process Results can work with an existing defined scope of work or assist in developing a scope of work for engineering services. We can provide a fixed fee or not to exceed proposal or work on an hourly basis. All engineering estimates are developed using our standard estimate worksheet (by task and related cost) and are available to each client for review. To our knowledge, no one else in the industry offers this level of detail and openness to their clients.

Is Process Results, Inc. insured?
We carry a full line of insurance including errors and omissions. Our limits are standard for the engineering industry and have been raised for specific clients when necessary. We are proud that, to date, we have not made a claim against our policy.

Does Process Results, Inc. provide design-build services?
Yes and No. Process Results typically provides engineering services ranging from design through construction management. We are not set up with insurances and bonding to complete the construction portion of a project. However, we have completed many design-build projects with several business partners. We can assist you in providing a strong project team that can competitively complete projects on a design-build basis (single source responsibility).

Is your engineering staff licensed?
Currently, all of the owners, along with some of the engineering staff are working licensed Professional Engineers registered in the State of Michigan and several other states. We strongly encourage our engineering staff to complete the initial exam and the four years of experience under a licensed professional necessary to take the final exam and obtain their license. We are capable of providing an engineering seal on all design documents and engineering services completed in our offices.

Can Process Results, Inc. help me start up my plant, process or building?
Conception through completion is what we advertise. We have experience in all aspects of a project from the concept through the successful turnover to an owner including on-site training, written operating instructions, commissioning, testing, documentation, manuals and dealing with permits and permit issues. We work with each client to provide the level of services necessary.
